Splitmate ("the app", "we", "us") is an expense-splitting app that lets you share group expenses with friends and settle up. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Splitmate is operated by an individual developer (Vuk Lazovic).
We do not collect location, contacts, device advertising identifiers, or usage-tracking data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored on Supabase's managed infrastructure. All traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and access to your data is restricted by row-level security so you only see the groups you belong to.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: open the account menu (the profile icon on the home screen) and tap Delete account. This removes your account and profile, the expenses you paid, and your shares in your groups. This action cannot be undone.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed as described above. Records that other members need for their own balances may remain in anonymized form.
Splitmate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
